Woodcraft Wellness was founded to share the many wellbeing benefits of green woodwork with those who need it most.
Providing green woodworking workshops with a strong focus on wellbeing and the natural environment to children, young people, and adults often unable to access such experiences. All from our base in pictureque Bellingham, Northumberland.

-Participants learn traditional sloyd techniques to safely and effectively carve bespoke objects from fresh green wood. Participants will be encouraged to connect with themselves, their materials and tools, and the natural world through the process of making. Carving wood is grounding and very human practice. Participants will learn the meditative and wellbeing benefits that craft can have on one’s life. 

-I offer workshops and tuition in spoon carving, kuksa carving, axe and knife skills, tool sharpening, and axe block / carving bench builds. If it involves carving greenwood, and I know it well enough to teach it, I am happy to share with you my knowledge and experience.
